Emergency/Incident Support Engineer

Responsibilities:
Include, but not limited to:
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and business-related issues reported by the Company regarding emergency systems during working hours and after working hours as may be required.
• Provide assistance and training with setup and configuration; provide training to functional users.
• Liaise with the support desk to escalate and resolve the reported problems.
• Assist with the design and development of ad hoc and custom report queries.
• Liaise with Company personnel for the resolution of report faults.
• Provide advice and information to user teams on System functions.
• Control and ensure that all System documentation is in accordance with Company established standards and practices and make certain that details of all amendments made to the System once implemented are fully recorded.
• Carry out other related duties as instructed by line manager.
• Identify and make recommendations to improve processes as applicable.

Requirements:
• Skilled in Windows Server and Oracle or SQL Database Administration.
• Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in supporting Emergency Incident Management Systems.
• Strong technical expertise and experienced in user training related activities.
• Good interpersonal skills and amicable disposition.
• Strong understanding of business practices.

Education:
• University degree in IT/computer or related areas.

Generic & Specific Skills:
• Shall be able to read, write and speak English language freely, and preferably Arabic as well.
